LABOR DAY!

It's hard to believe that 4 years ago I was IN LABOR on LABOR DAY!

But she was totally worth it.

Derik finally talked me into going off shore with him. It had been 7 years since I went off shore. I forgot how much I loved it and just being on the boat.

We took Brittany- she was a first timer.

She did not get sick, and had a BLAST!

Well, we all had a blast.

Of course Derik caught the biggest fish of the day, but Britt caught the first one.

It looks like she only has 1/2 a fish, but it was flapping its tale.

My King Fish. It is the only type of fish I have ever caught that I did not have to throw back. This trip I actually caught 2 other fish (snappers) that I could keep- ending the King Fish problem.

Ok, it is a Ling. This was the SHORTEST Ling fight I have EVER seen. Usually people fight them forever. My strong man pulled that sucker up in about 5 minutes!

It was so awesome. Brittany and I were not much help, Derik reeled and gaffed all by himself! Yeah he's a hard core fisherman.

We had so much fun watching it. Brittany and I were running around like chickens with our heads cut off. It all happened so fast, we never did anything. Thank GOD I thought about grabbing the camera. I am so glad I caught this.

For some reason the Angel Fish REALLY liked Britt, maybe it is because she is an angel??
