Audrey's Tea Party

It is so hard to believe our angel turned 4 on Sunday!
She is so grown up.
On Saturday I planned a special girls day with her.
Daddy and Bubby got up early to go mess with the horses.
Audrey and I slept in (so much easier with Trav gone), and had breakfast in bed.
I went back to my best childhood memories, and brought a little to Audrey. We had breakfast Aunt Sarah style.
1st she had some Care Bear snacks. Then we had some really good cookies that Granny had made us. (Can't eat them when Trav is around.)
After a while we got up to get ready for Aud's surprise.
Brittany and I took her to The Pear Tree (another treat Aunt Sarah did for me- and we can't go there at all with Travis). I had not been to The Pear Tree in almost 2 years, because of Trav I boycot places with peanut butter. Oh my gosh HOW I MISSED THE PEAR TREE!
Of course we did not have peanut butter!
We had The Pear Tree Special with Queso soup. Aud LOVED the tea, so we got an extra pot.
She felt so grown up just eating with me and Britt.

Then we went to a Baby Shower for my friend Maria. Maria is having her 3rd child- 30 months and 3 children- pray for her!
Anyways, then we went back to Maria's house for the girls to play. Audrey and Saramaria ran around pretending like they were cowgirls. Saramaria has a play gun that is pink so they went "hunting."
Audrey told Mr. Moises "I love to go hunting with my daddy, I am going to have to ask him to take me back." (They go hunting at Granny and PawPaw's.)
Mr. Moises said "Your daddy is the luckiest man in the world." Then he looked at Saramaria and said, "I hope you say that to me some day!"
Men are so funny.
It was pretty late when we left there, and Audrey barely made it home awake.
I stopped and let her pick out 3 movies to buy.
By the time we got home she was so excited about them, she was on her 2nd wind.
Daddy was awake so we told him all about our day.
I didn't know Hannah Montana was on so late, so she got involved in that!
It was after 11 before we broke the news that she HAD TO GO TO BED.
She snuggled up next to her Bubby for a good night sleep.
Sunday morning we woke up to our adorable 4 year old! Where does time go?

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY Audrey!!!! It does seem like just yesterday that you were pregnant with her- wow! I try not to think about how fast time flies cause it makes me sad. Looks like y'all had a great girls day- so fun. I bet Aud felt like such a big girl with her little cup of tea. Had it not been Saturday you would have seen my mom at the Pear Tree (she works Mon-Thur)- I got lots of Pear Tree leftovers when I lived at home. Not to mention, she had all the recipes- Yummy!
