Should have known

I look at this picture and I see the beginning of Trav's long fight with allergies. The doctors just shrugged it off. I remember the day after he was born his skin was so inflamed they could not bathe him or use wipes on him. At 2 days old he had to go on a steriod cream. And the doctors saw nothing wrong with all of this? What is wrong with this world. At 2 weeks old (one week after this picture), Trav could not breathe. I asked the doc if he was asthmatic- he said impossible. Now his doc says, Travis is not a text book child, I no longer go by what I was taught with him.
So why don't doctors see a problem with this from birth???? Because they think that children CANNOT be allergic to ANYTHING until they are 2.
Hate to burst their bubbles, but I see babies every day, that I know have allergies. Derik and I saw one last night. When her daddy walked off with her, we both looked at each other and said "That poor baby has a food allergy."
You can't look at this picture and tell me that their is nothing wrong with this. You can only see his arm and face, but his entire body looked like this.
Travis is a lucky one.
Pray for the children on feeding tubes and can't leave their house.
