Mississippi Porch

These are all pictures on Mimie and Big Daddy's front porch. There's nothing like sitting on their porch and being a kid.
My beautiful girl had so much fun in Mississippi. But she is a Texas girl- she missed Mamaw and Sugar.

If you notice Daddy and Bubby have on their fishing shirts. I think Daddy missed the coast (he dressed Bubby that day).

Big Daddy and his boy, and my beautiful girl. Aud would not sit still long enough to take a picture with Big Daddy. This was the only one I caught her in with him.

This is the same swing my brother, David, and I used to play on.

Travis is definitely a Mississippi Boy. When we got him out of the car, the first thing he did was take off down that hill. I've never seen him run so fast. He ran all the way down, found the only mud puddle in the pasture and ran all the way back up. Without ever falling down! He loved that red Mississippi mud.

Travis meets Big Daddy

This was such an exciting day. Travis finally got to meet the man he's named after. Maybe more for Big Daddy and me, but it was so wonderful to see them together!

Travis would not leave Big Daddy alone. Of course Big Daddy loved the attention from his little man.

Travis loved pressing the horn on Big Daddy's scooter. I'm sure Travis would be just as dangerous with the cart as his great- grandfather is in Walmart.

All you can see is mischivious in that face! I was trying to get him to stop blowing the horn. It was really loud in Mimi's little room.

My little monkey boy. He never stops climbing.

Rockin Rodeo

Every night before bed Travis and Aud have a little ritual. Of course they usually have a bath first, but this was the 4th of July and Mamaw was over- 2 very special occassions.
We were watching Chicken Little and Travis sneaked off to his room to continue with his usual ritual.
Mamaw said we had to come look.

Sister is riding her pony "Sugar" named after Davi's "real" horse Sugar. Or as she calls them forses. Just about every horse we have is named Sugar and everynight Audrey asks God to bless Sugar and keep her safe. Not sure about which one of the 15 she's talking about, but I'm pretty sure it is the real one.

I know this is one sport the kids will be able to do together. I don't think we will catch them on a softball team together!

Mommy's Little Tough and Rumblin Cowboy!

Baby Aaron's shower

Audrey and I spent a girls day together. One of my oldest friends Christina, is having a baby boy. I took Aud to her shower. Audrey had not seen Christina since she was a baby. But like everyone else, she fell in love with Christina. I always thought Christina and I would raise little girls together, since we had so much fun growing up. But now it will be our boys. Although Christina, I don't know if Travis will be a good influence on Baby Aaron.

Audrey was such an angel. She played, helped clean up and of course- ENTERTAIN!

Father's Day fish

Father's Day morning Daddy and PawPaw took Audrey fishing for the first time. She fished on the pole her Aunt Kathy bought her. She was more interested in the sleeping worms than actually fishing. Aud kept telling everyone to be quite for or they would wake them.

Now if that isn't a Westinghouse face, I don't know what is!

When Aud caught her first fish, she got extremely upset because they made her reel it up. Or as Aud says- "stir it up."

She always says- all you have to do to go fishing is press the green button.

Father's Day Weekend

These are all from our trip to Lake Palestine.

Davi's Graduation

So my baby sister has graduated!!
We are so excited, but so sad at the same time.
I keep telling Aud that Davi is going to college. She tells me that is fine, that they can go to school together. I'm not quite sure what we will do when Aud doesn't get her Dabi fix every week!
Pray for us- the child is more moody than I am.

There's that silly smile again.

Can you see the joy in Davi's face?! There is nothing like a high school graduates smile- they just think they are free of mom and dad. Boy do they have a shock coming!

Trav's Potty Training

JUST JOKING!!!

Travis feel asleep the night before in just his diaper. Little did I know it was a future disaster!

Every morning Travis wakes up while I'm getting ready. This one particular morning he woke up when I was finishing my make-up. I thought. Oh he's fine, I'll finish. WRONG!

I could hear him laughing louder and louder. I walked into the room with a smile that faded really quickly- so did my voice. As I was saying what are you doing- I noticed he had taken off his diaper (by the way it had poop in it), most of it fell out in the bed, then he wiped it all over the bed, the bedding and oh yes HIS FACE! I'm not sure if he was trying to taste it or what. Mamaw said he was just wiping himself.

Really quickly he started crying and gave me that pitiful face. It didn't work at first, because I had a really important meeting.

We have found Travis with his diaper off a lot lately. So we make sure he has something else on with it. His new thing is to stand up in the tub and pee on sister.

Yes, we know he is all boy.

Sleep Over

Audrey said she wanted to sleep with Brother. So we thought we give it a try. Brother is a need all of the bed type of guy. He was not very happy about sharing with sister.

We kept asking Aud if she was sure, and all she could say is she wanted to snuggle with Bubby.

I don't think much snuggling happened. Somehow they survived the night. Although they were both exhausted the entire night.

DaviAnn's Prom

DaviAnn had her senior prom! It's hard to believe she is so grown up. The boy in the picture is Jared. They didn't go to prom together, they are good friends.

Of course Travis didn't care about anything but the food. We are all running around like crazy trying to get Davi dressed and all he could think about was of course- his food. He is such a Westinghouse!
