My plan was to wait 1 year before I cut Trav's hair! So we did it on the eve of his first birthday. I can't believe my baby boy will be 1 tomorrow. He is so wonderful.
Sister was not happy that she wasn't getting her hair cut. We tried to explain that she had beautiful hair, but she didn't care. The only way we could get her out of there was to tell her Mamaw had to be there for her haircut.
I meant for this pic to be first. I was showing "Miss Valerie" how I wanted it cut. She was so patient. I did not want his cute curls in the back cut off. But Daddy didn't want him to look like a girl anymore. It had gotten out of hand.
Daddy kept saying it must be hard to hit a moving target. He did not keep his head still, and held Mama's hand the whole time.

I hate he wasn't looking straight at the camera. He is just so perfect. Of course he didn't really cry till the end. I guess he was sad like Mommy.
